Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ 5G Debuts with IP69 Rating and 144Hz Display
Motorola has officially expanded its Edge lineup with the quiet release of the Edge 70 Fusion+ 5G. The mid to high range device provides display brightness capabilities together with IP68 and IP69 protection standards. The smartphone is currently launching in the Brazilian market with a starting price of $570.
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ 5G features a 6.8 inch curved AMOLED screen designed for high visibility in outdoor conditions. The display has these main performance specifications
Peak Brightness Reaches up to 5200 cd/m² one of the highest in its class for 2026. The display refreshes at 144Hz which provides a seamless experience for both gaming and user interface movements. The Pantone Validated panel guarantees professional grade color reproduction for the display. The screen uses Corning Gorilla Glass 7i as its protection element.
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor powers the device together with its hardware enhancements which improve multitasking abilities. The device includes 12 GB of RAM together with 256 GB of internal storage space. Motorola has also included its Intelligent RAM Boost technology which uses software to improve memory management during high demand situations.
Motorola has dedicated its efforts to achieve high sensor performance through the identification of the Sony LYTIA 710 sensor for the Edge 70 Fusion+ 5G primary imaging system. The camera array consists of

The device contains a 5200 mAh battery which enables 68 watt fast charging through its power interface.
The smartphone comes in Green and Purple color options. The product price in Brazil has been set at about $570. The device introduces flagship level protection elements together with its display technology to the Fusion series although Motorola has not yet revealed its complete global distribution timetable.
