The manufacturer established thermal and electrical endurance as their main goal by equipping the frame with an 8600mAh battery that permits 120W rapid wired charging. The equipment operates on Android 16 through the ColorOS 16 interface inside a chassis with IP69K protection against dust and water. The design aesthetic is characterized by the Ace Awakening texture, a 3D stereoscopic engraving that reveals shifting visual patterns under light, while the Metal Cube Deco array ensures that the heat generating components remain physically isolated from the user's grip.
The dedicated gaming peripheral for the smartphone provides protection for the device while functioning as a device for input control. OnePlus China head Louis Jie describes the hardware as a fundamental evolution of the mobile control scheme which solves the multi finger input problems that plague mobile shooters.
