Vivo Y600 Turbo Smartphone Features Extreme 9020mAh Battery Life Combined with Robust IP69 Protection and Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Hardware
Vivo is introducing to their consumer electronics range the Y600 Turbo. A smartphone aimed at users that need extreme battery life and an extreme level of environmental protection. According to Vivo's official product registry, it stands out of the mid range market due to a robust IP ingress protection rating and high resolution video recording on the front and back camera sensors.
At the front, a 6.83 inch AMOLED screen with 2800x1260 resolution and a fluid 120Hz refresh rate displays the smartphone's content. To reduce eye strain, the display features a 4320Hz PWM dimming cycle that effectively eliminates flickering on the screen even at lower levels of brightness. For sunlight viewing conditions, the display has a peak brightness of 5000 nits, making it easier to view the screen outdoors.
The performance of the hardware is handled by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. In its top configurations, it can be paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The key hardware feature here is a 9020mAh silicon carbon battery with 90W fast charging. Vivo guarantees a battery lifespan of at least 80% of its original capacity even after 1200 charge cycles thanks to its chemistry.
At the rear, it has a dual camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera. Both front and rear cameras feature E.I.S and support 4K video recording. An additional characteristic to note is that even for this class of device, both front and rear cameras come with E.I.S. And are capable of recording in 4K.
The device also comes with IP68 and IP69 water and hot water pressure resistance ratings. Furthermore, it has an in display fingerprint scanner, an NFC chip for mobile payments, dual band Wi Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 support. The smartphone is launched on the Chinese market with 3 configurations starting from 2299 yuan (8GB/256GB) to 2599 yuan (12GB/512GB). The mid range version with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage is available for 2899 yuan.
