XMG has launched the NEO 16 M26, a flagship gaming laptop powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor. The machine offers Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series graphics, Wi Fi 7 connectivity, and optional 240Hz OLED or Mini LED screens. Configured with an RTX 5070 Ti and the OLED panel, the laptop starts at €3199.
Under the hood, the new flagship runs an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor with a 24 core architecture. This configuration includes 8 performance cores and 16 efficiency cores built for heavy computing loads. Interestingly, XMG carried over the exact chassis from the earlier Neo 16 E25 model without redesigning the internal cooling system for the new silicon.
Screen choices are a major highlight for this release. The 16 inch panel features a 2560x1600 resolution and a fast 240Hz refresh rate. Gamers looking for deep contrast can choose an OLED screen delivering peak HDR brightness of 1000 nits. Entry level models ship with a standard IPS display, while buyers who want high brightness without OLED burn risks can select a Mini LED alternative.
Graphics setups cater to multiple performance tiers. Buyers can configure the system with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, an RTX 5080, or the top tier RTX 5090. Physical connectivity includes Thunderbolt 4 alongside modern Wi Fi 7 wireless networking. A configuration with the Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus, an RTX 5070 Ti, and the OLED panel costs €3199, with higher tier graphics options raising the final price.
