The new Ultimate 3 and Pro 3 controllers feature specialized Lara Croft artwork alongside high accuracy TMR joysticks and Hall Effect triggers. Both models are now heading to international markets starting at $79.99.
The flagship option in the lineup is the Ultimate 3 Controller for Xbox. Priced at $119.99, this gamepad honors the history of the series by displaying visual eras of Lara Croft from her earliest polygon look to her modern aesthetic. 8BitDo gave this version a gold zinc alloy D pad to create a distinct metallic accent. It is built for serious play.
Under the shell, the controller uses adjustable tension TMR joysticks that resist wear and eliminate input drift. The triggers use Hall Effect magnetic sensors with dual mode stops, allowing players to swap between long analog pulls for driving and short hair triggers for shooting. On PC, the controller delivers a fast 1kHz polling rate over a 2.4GHz wireless connection, complete with 6 axis motion controls.
