A new compact workstation designed for heavy AI computing has debuted at IFA. The Acemagic F9A integrates an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor with up to 192 GB of unified memory inside a 158.5 x 158.5 x 81.5 mm chassis. While Acemagic is currently previewing the flagship unit online, presales for a lower tier model kick off on the official store in the coming days.
Running local language models requires massive memory bandwidth, and this tiny desktop tackles that issue head on. The F9A runs 16 cores and 32 threads with boost clock speeds up to 5.2 GHz, paired with integrated Radeon 8065S graphics. Its primary selling point is support for up to 192 GB of fast LPDDR5X 8533 unified memory. Because the processor, graphics engine, and neural cores share the exact same memory pool, the system avoids the data bottlenecks typical of small desktop computers.
The internal silicon delivers up to 55 TOPS from its dedicated neural processing unit, bringing total platform AI output to 131 TOPS. Acemagic demonstrated this capacity by successfully running the DeepSeek V4 Flash 284B model locally on the hardware. This gives software developers and data specialists a way to test massive models right on their desks without paying continuous cloud server fees.
The compact chassis measures 158.5 by 158.5 by 81.5 millimeters, making it easy to fit into tight office spaces. Despite the small footprint, connectivity is broad. The unit features 2 USB4 ports, dual 2.5GbE Ethernet jacks, Wi Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, and an OCuLink connection running on PCIe 4.0 x4 for external graphics expansion. Storage is handled by an internal M.2 2280 slot that accepts solid state drives up to 4 TB.
Acemagic is also offering an alternative configuration version includes an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 chip with 16 cores, boost speeds up to 5.1 GHz, Radeon 8060S graphics, and support for up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X memory. The company plans to open official website presales for the AI Max+ 395 version first, with pricing and order dates for the top tier AI Max+ PRO 495 model expected to follow shortly after.
