Remedy Entertainment has published the official PC system requirements for Control Resonant. The upcoming action title relies heavily on upscaling technology to hit playable frame rates across every graphical preset. Gamers aiming for 4K resolutions will need top tier graphics hardware even with performance reconstruction active.

Running the game natively without temporal upscaling is clearly not the intended path. The published hardware tiers assume that players are using upscaling tools like DLSS from the start. For 4K resolution targets, the developers recommend setting the reconstruction to performance mode, which renders the game at a base 1080p and reconstructs the image 4 times over. This reliance on reconstruction means that raw hardware performance will need to be much higher if you want to play without visual artifacts.

For basic 1080p playback at 30 fps with ray tracing turned off, the minimum specifications ask for an Intel Core i5 8500 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500 processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT, or Intel Arc A580 with 6GB of video memory on low settings. Stepping up to 1440p at 60 fps on medium settings moves the CPU baseline to an Intel Core i7 10700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, backed by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, or Intel Arc B580 with 8GB of VRAM. If you want 4K at 60 fps on high presets without lighting effects, you will need an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT with at least 10GB of VRAM.

Enabling ray tracing elevates the hardware demands rapidly. Entry level ray tracing at 1080p 30 fps requires an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X along with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super, AMD Radeon RX 6600, or Intel Arc A580 on low settings with quality upscaling. Recommended settings for 1440p 60 fps push the requirements up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti or an AMD Radeon RX 9070 with 10GB of VRAM. The most demanding tier involves full path tracing at 4K 60 fps, demanding an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 with 12GB of VRAM running alongside the performance upscaler preset.

System memory demands remain steady across every configuration at 16GB of RAM. The installation will occupy 120GB of solid state drive storage space, making an SSD mandatory for asset streaming. The game is scheduled to launch later this month on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles.
