Hisense has launched the Shadow Hunter G5 Pro, a compact esports monitor engineered specifically for competitive shooters. The 24.5 inch screen combines a crisp 2K resolution with a 320Hz refresh rate and a rapid 0.4ms response time. It is arriving in China with a retail price of 1999 yuan, which converts to roughly $280 USD.
The display panel uses Fast IPS technology covered by what Hisense calls an Ink Crystal glass layer. This surface treatment blends anti reflection and anti glare properties to keep ambient room light from washing out dark corners. Fast motion is handled by BFI 2.0 black frame insertion tech to minimize blur, while AMD FreeSync Premium Pro stops visual tearing during sudden frame drops. Color reproduction is equally sharp, covering 96% of the DCI P3 spectrum with color accuracy rated below Delta E 1.5. Peak brightness reaches DisplayHDR 600 requirements, giving highlights realistic punch.
Tournament players get practical features targeted at twitch gameplay. Hisense added a dedicated FPS Gamma curve designed to lift dark areas and help enemy silhouettes pop out of murky environments. The monitor also lets you swap display aspect ratios straight from the menu. You can switch between standard 16:9, native 4:3, and stretched 4:3 to run classic competitive resolutions without tweaking graphics card software.
The stand is built to save desk space for low sensitivity mouse users. It provides 20 degrees of tilt adjustment, and the rear chassis incorporates an integrated headphone hanger to keep gear off your desk. Hisense has not yet confirmed Western availability or full connection port counts. Right now the package represents a very aggressive entry in the ultra fast budget esports screen bracket.
