HMD has officially revealed the Vibe 2 Pro, an upgraded successor to the standard Vibe 2 released earlier this year. The phone packs a massive 6000 mAh battery, a 64 MP Sony primary camera, and runs Android 16 right out of the box with an integrated AI assistant. However, official retail pricing remains under wraps ahead of its upcoming market debut in India.
Under the hood, the device relies on a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor. The chip runs alongside 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Battery endurance is the clear focus here. The 6000 mAh capacity should easily deliver multiple days of moderate use on a single charge. When the cell finally empties, the included 33W wired charging system restores power without keeping you tethered to a wall outlet for hours.
Photography duties are handled by a 2 camera rear setup led by a 64 MP Sony IMX682 sensor. That main lens works alongside a 2 MP macro unit for close up shots. Selfies and video calls rely on a 13 MP front facing camera centered on the display. Budget buyers will also appreciate that HMD chose to keep the physical 3.5 mm headphone jack, which avoids the need for external audio adapters.
On the software side, the device ships with Android 16 right from the factory. The operating system includes a built in AI assistant designed to handle voice commands and automated daily tasks. Sales are set to begin first in India in a matter of days. While HMD has kept the official price tag quiet for now, the internal components point to a competitive budget friendly release.
