Honor has officially released the Play 11 in China, bringing extreme battery life and heavy duty protection to the entry market. The device combines a massive 8300mAh cell with an IP69K water resistance rating and Qualcomm silicon. It is available now through the official Honor Mall starting at 1399 yuan, which converts to roughly $195 USD.
The headline feature of the Play 11 is its 8300mAh battery, which is unusually large for an affordable phone. Even with this giant power pack, the phone measures 8.3 millimeters thick and weighs 216.5 grams. Recharging is supported by 45W wired fast charging through a USB C 2.0 port. On the durability front, the device earns an IP69K rating, which means it can withstand high pressure hot water jets and extreme dust exposure.
On the front, the phone features a 6.87 inch TFT LCD screen running at a smooth 120Hz refresh rate with a resolution of 1592x720 pixels. The back panel houses a single 50MP main camera for daily photography. Under the hood, Qualcomm supplies the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor to handle everyday apps. Honor also baked in an AI feature designed to shut down ad popups with 1 click, alongside a 400% extra loud speaker mode and Bluetooth 4.2 support.
Honor offers the phone in Midnight Black, Desert Gold, and Meteor Silver color options. The entry tier with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs 1399 yuan, or roughly $195 USD. The middle version with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 1449 yuan, which works out to about $205 USD. The top configuration with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage sells for 1749 yuan, or around $245 USD. In certain regions, local subsidies lower the starting entry price to 1189.15 yuan, bringing the phone down to approximately $165 USD.
