The rollout begins with the standard, Plus, and Ultra models following its initial appearance on the latest Fold8 and Flip8 foldable devices.
Video recording receives a practical upgrade with a tool called My FanCam. The feature automatically locks onto a selected person in a recorded clip and shifts the frame to keep them centered as they move across the scene. This eliminates the need to crop and edit footage manually before posting to social channels. Daily summaries also become more flexible through editable cards inside Now Brief. Users can build custom overview widgets covering weather, health metrics, and video feeds so the morning summary shows only what matters to them.
Device maintenance is now integrated straight into the core system menus through Warranty and Care. Galaxy owners no longer need to browse external support sites to check their coverage status. The menu allows users to run hardware self diagnostics, look up repair cost estimates, manage Samsung Care protection, and book local service appointments in just a few taps.
Everyday actions take fewer taps with context aware software suggestions. A feature called Now Nudge monitors conversational context inside text messages to offer instant actions, such as pulling up hotel reservations or adding calendar events without leaving the chat window. For creative projects, Creative Studio suggests custom image generation ideas based on upcoming calendar dates like birthdays.
Language translation tools also see noticeable improvements. The Interpreter app adds a Thread View layout, letting users review earlier lines of dialogue during long multilingual conversations. Audio playback delays through connected Galaxy Buds have been reduced to make conversations feel more natural. For document scanning, the camera software now straightens curved book pages, flattens folded paper, and uses a digital Finger Eraser tool to remove stray thumbs from scanned pages. Voice Recorder formats meeting audio transcripts into structured summaries using clear section headers.
System security alerts are now unified directly inside the daily overview. A dedicated Security Brief warns users about potential malware threats, sideloaded applications from unknown sources, and apps asking for unnecessary background permissions. The software uses on device intelligence to catch suspicious background permission requests in real time. Samsung has also expanded its Scam Detection engine to support more languages and international carriers, providing live alerts when suspicious calls come through.
