The new lineup operates at a low 1.1V voltage baseline to minimize heat generation in tight enclosures. Like standard DDR5 hardware, the architecture splits memory paths into 2 independent subchannels to improve transfer efficiency. What sets these CUDIMM and CSODIMM sticks apart is the onboard Client Clock Driver chip. This dedicated silicon buffers and stabilizes clock signals directly on the memory module, preventing data corruption when running high speeds in factory environments.
Industrial hardware requires extra layers of physical protection against harsh conditions. Transcend included a built in temperature sensor inside the Serial Presence Detect chip to monitor thermal spikes in real time.
