XGIMI has refreshed its compact home cinema lineup with the new Z6X Pro Triple Color Laser edition. The portable projector pushes brightness up to 1500 CVIA lumens while keeping a slim 7.5 centimeter profile with an integrated 150 degree gimbal. It is currently available in China starting at an introductory price of 2399 yuan about 358.19$ US.
The biggest performance leap sits inside the optical system. XGIMI equipped the unit with the latest QuaLas 42 triple color laser engine. This optical module produces higher light output with less heat buildup, ensuring stable brightness during long viewing sessions. Compared to traditional LED light sources, the triple laser hardware delivers purer primary colors and a noticeably wider color space.
The projector also relies on DLP display technology commonly seen in premium cinema hardware. This setup helps retain fine shadow details and produces sharper overall imagery. The combination of high brightness and pure laser light makes the unit far more capable in rooms with ambient lighting.
Portability remains a major focus for this refreshed model. The body weighs just 1.28 kilograms and stands only 7.5 centimeters thick, making it easy to carry in a backpack or move between rooms. It rests on an integrated 150 degree picture frame gimbal. This built in bracket lets you angle the lens toward ceilings or high walls without needing tripods or stacking books underneath.
XGIMI is targeting buyers who want cinema grade color reproduction without buying a massive, expensive living room projector. At an entry price of 2399 yuan, it stands out as one of the most affordable ways to get triple laser performance in a compact form factor.
