ZTE has launched the U15 portable Wi Fi hotspot featuring a massive 10000 mAh battery and reverse charging support. The compact router delivers Wi Fi 6 speeds alongside up to 26 hours of continuous active use. It is now on sale in China starting at just 99 yuan.
Battery endurance is where the U15 beats most conventional mobile hotspots. Most pocket routers run out of power halfway through a work shift. ZTE solved this issue directly. The device packs a 10000 mAh cell that provides 26 hours of uninterrupted connection time and up to 51 days of standby life. It also doubles as a portable power bank. Users can plug in their phones to draw 15W of reverse power output via the Type C port during emergencies. Recharging the hotspot requires 18W fast input power using the exact same cable that powers your phone.
The networking hardware offers modern connectivity speeds on the go. According to retail specifications verified by ITHome, the U15 operates on Wi Fi 6 standards. It uses OFDMA technology to split traffic streams intelligently so multiple connected gadgets do not suffer from signal drops. Setting up service is equally simple.
