Gamescom 2025 Set for Big Crowd, More Exhibitors Line Up
Gamescom 2025 is set to happen from August 20 to 24 in Cologne, Germany, and it looks like it will break records. The team behind it talks about an 11% rise in bookings by exhibitors from last year. This points to a strong pull in the industry and a full plan for those going.

Games to Watch Out for
Expect new game plays from Konami at the show. They are set to show more from the coming Metal Gear Solid Delta Remake, due out August 28, 2025. Also, look out for clips from Silent Hill f, set for a Fall 2025 drop.
Big Starts and Top Events
Before the main show, Gamescom Opening Night Live kicks off on August 19. Geoff Keighley and Eefje “Sjokz” Depoortere will host. Key bits to watch:
- Activision will show off Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 for the first time.
- The Witcher in Concert, with music from Sabaton and Wargaming.
- The big final of Techniker Prime League eSports for League of Legends by Riot Games.

More Space and Focus on the Industry
To make room for the big crowd, the Koelnmesse team is adding more space. The main fun zone now has Hall 8. For the first time, the area for indie games grows too, reaching into Hall 10.2.
Besides the fun for the crowd, Gamescom 2025 will keep its focus on a conference for game makers. It will also host the Gamescom Invest Circle, a new push to tie gaming startups with publishers and money folks.
