AMD Details New Radeon RX 9060 GPU Specs
AMD just put out the full specs for its brand new Radeon RX 9060 graphics card. These details show that the NAVI 44 GPU is an altered form of the Radeon RX 9060 XT, with less shaders and slower memory. This update fixes old news that told board partners it had more shaders.
Radeon RX 9060 Full Specs
The Radeon RX 9060 is made to use less power than the XT type. Key specs from AMD’s site are:
- Stream Processors: 1792 (28 Compute Units).
- Memory: 8 GB GDDR6 on a 128-bit bus.
- Memory Speed: 18 Gbps, gives 288 GB/s of bandwidth.
- Accelerators: Fewer Ray and AI Accelerators than the XT.
- Power Use (TDP): 132W, needs a 450W power unit.
- Tech Support: Full help for new tech like AV1 Encoding and Decoding.
- Display Outputs: AIB custom models plan to have new ports like DisplayPort 2.1a and HDMI 2.1b.
Told 1080p Game Power
AMD says the RX 9060 can run games at 1080p ultra settings well. They say it can hit over 100 FPS in big games, like:
- Assassin's Creed Mirage: 108 FPS
- F1 24: 188 FPS
- DOOM: 153 FPS
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 6: 98 FPS (Note: It's listed as 'Call of Duty 98')
Take these numbers with care, as we don't know the exact test set-up and graphic levels AMD used. These might be too high note the more strong RX 9060 XT hits 100-120 FPS in God of War: Ragnarok with similar settings.
When To Buy and Driver Help
AMD won't put out a standard design for the RX 9060. It will only be sold by Add-In Board (AIB) partners in different custom styles.
The latest driver for the Radeon RX 9060 is in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 25.8.1, ready to download.
