GMKtec Announces Barebone Kit NucBox G10 at a Very Low Price
GMKtec announces the launch of a new NucBox G10 mini PC model in barebone mode. The price for this model in China is CNY 799, equivalent to around $115, whereas the pre-built version is at $189.98, thus much cheaper for the entry model.
Core Feature and Expandability of Platform
Newly released is a barebones system that requires the addition of RAM and storage according to the preferences of the consumer. Top kernel features of the NucBox G10 platform include excellent expandability options.
- RAM: The setup has two SO-DIMM slots, supporting 64 gbs of DDR4 memory running at 2400 MT/s.
- Storage: There are [2]2280 M.2 slots, with each capable of an 8 TBSSD, making a maximum total capacity of 16 TB.
- Cooling System: The chassis has a large cooling fan with a heatsink designed to keep performance strong under heavy load and low in noise during operation.
Connectivity and Display Output
The NucBox G10 is equipped with ports as befitting a full mini, including:

- 1x Full-function USB Type-C
- 1x USB Type-C (with Power Delivery)

Price and Availability
Currently, GMKtec sells the NucBox G10 configured with an AMD Ryzen CPU 5 3500U, 16 GB memory, and 512 GB of storage for $189.98. The barebones version will retail at CNY 799 (about $115) in China. GMKtec has not articulately mentioned when this version will be available.
