Nioh 3 Release Date Targets February 2026 in Amazon Leak

According to an Amazon leak, Nioh 3 is targeting a February 2026 release. On Amazon Japan, the potential release date for Nioh 3 had a brief appearance. The listing was reported by X user Renka_Schedule, who claimed the title was inscribed for release on February 6, 2026. Although the page has since been deleted, it corresponds with KOEI TECMO's prior announcing of an early 2026 release and is also coincidentally close to the original Nioh's anniversary on February 7.

Treasure Box Edition Details Leaked

The same Amazon Japan listing also provided details on a physical "Treasure Box" edition, which is said to contain the following:

  • A B5 official art book
  • A selection soundtrack CD
  • An original desk mat
  • A Sunekosuri fur ball key chain

Upcoming Showcases at TGS 2025

Nioh 3 was first revealed at the State of Play in June and may make an appearance again in September. There is certain to be a showcase during the TGS 2025 Official Program tomorrow, where General Producer Yasuda and Producer Shibata will give updates and show off gameplay from the new "Heian Period" stage featuring "Dual Swords" and "Tonfa.

Key Gameplay Changes from Previous Titles

The upcoming sequel introduces a lot of drastic changes to the series' formula. One of the more outstanding improvements is the ability to change through different samurai or ninja combat styles whenever a player wants during gameplay.

Nioh 3 will also make a departure from the more linear environments of the previous entries toward an open-field design set for increased exploration by the players.

Release on PS5 and PC on the Same Day

Unlike the previous title in the franchise, Nioh 3 is now being planned to be simultaneously released on PS5 and PC. The previous Nioh games would generally first launch on the PlayStation console and only much later on the PC.
