Black Shark GS3 Ultra Now Available with Reinforced Frame and Extended Battery Life
The GS3 Ultra is another tough new option added by Xiaomi's sub-brand, Black Shark, to the wearables' lineup. The smartwatch stresses toughness and endurance with its reinforced metal build and well-optimized battery performance for outdoor and active use.
Display and Durability Specs
At the center of the device is a 1.43 AMOLED panel that can hit 1000 nits brightness to see it under bright conditions. The durability parameters stand as:
- Screen Protection The 9H Gorilla Glass protects best against scratches and impacts to the display.
- Water Resistant The case can resist water down to 50 meters.
- IP69K Standard It can withstand high-pressure, high-temperature water jets, perfect for extreme environmental conditions.
- Controls Four mechanical push buttons facilitate operations even without relying solely on the touchscreen.
Battery Life And Connectivity
A very salient feature for GS3 Ultra is its battery management. The manufacturer claims that the built-in battery is sufficient for 18 days of normal use. If battery life is your priority, turning on maximum power-saving mode will extend operation for up to 45 days from a single charge.
The watch will be using dual-frequency GPS navigation, which combines L1+L5, while also supporting other satellite systems, including BeiDou, GLONASS, NavIC, and Galileo. Noise cancellation technology is included in the calling through Bluetooth.
Health And Fitness Tracking
GS3 Ultra can track quite a number of activities and health metrics.
- Sports Modes More than 160 different sports modes supported.
- Auto Detection Recognizes basic activity such as running, walking, and gym equipment use without intervention.
- Health Monitoring Monitors heart rate, blood oxygen and stress level.
