Chuwi Unveils New Hi10 X2 Windows Tablet with Intel Core i3
The Hi10 X2 is gone through an official launch process. In fact, we are talking about an updated version of this low-budget Windows 2-in-1 convertible tablet. The hardware is now powered by an Intel Core i3-10100Y processor, and the pricing begins from $177.11.
Specifications and Features
Most of the features of its predecessor, which was X1, have been retained by the Hi10 X2, such as a convertible design, 10.1-inch IPS display, 1280x800 resolution, and 16:10 aspect ratio.
Processor and Performance
The main internal change is the processor. While the Hi10 X2 houses the Intel Core i3-10100Y, that is a dual-core CPU from the Amber Lake family, the previous model utilized the Intel N150. So, technically, a performance enhancement is not what this presents; rather, it exhibits a lower base TDP that should ultimately convert to a longer battery life.
Memory, Storage, and Battery
The tablet boasts 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Similar to its predecessor, it hosts a 3,400 mAh battery. The camera setup remains unchanged, with 8 MP on the rear and 5 MP on the front.
Connectivity and Ports
For wireless connectivity, the Hi10 X2 is equipped with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. The physical port selection remains the same as before. They are as follows:
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C
- 1x full-featured USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C
- 1x Micro HDMI
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
- 1x 3.5 mm audio jack
There's a pogo pin connector located at the bottom of the device for attaching an optional keyboard while using it in convertible 2-in-1 mode.
