Asus Releases TUF Gaming A14 with AMD Strix Halo APU
Asus has begun selling the TUF Gaming A14 (FA401EA), its first 14-inch gaming laptop built on AMD's Strix Halo architecture. The device supports a maximum of 48 GB of VRAM which can be used by its built-in Radeon 8060S GPU through the system's 64 GB RAM capacity.

The laptop which was first shown at CES 2026 includes these hardware components:
- APU: AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 392 with 95W power delivery.
- Display: 14-inch, 165 Hz refresh rate.
- RAM: Available with up to 64 GB.
- Storage: The system features two M.2 2280 slots for storage expansion.
- Battery: 73 Wh.
Availability and Launch Details
Asus has updated its specifications because the laptop originally announced 32 GB as its maximum RAM capacity. The 64 GB RAM variant is now the first configuration available for pre-order in several markets, including China, Japan, Spain, and Poland. The product will launch worldwide but the release dates for Australia, North America, and the remaining European countries remain unconfirmed.
