The New Diablo IV Paladin Build Kills Mobs on Its Own

After a recent update introducing Paladins into Diablo IV, players found a build so potent it doesn't even need to use the attack skills. The build has enemies dying automatically upon entering the player's vicinity.

The Auradin Build Explained

A.k.a. Aura Farmer or Auradin. The build gets its main source of damage from an aura that can wipe any enemy in its range. The gameplay is mostly a walk-in walk-out affair; the player just strolls up to monsters and lets the aura with its passive damage kill off enemies without having to press any attack buttons.

Main Ingredients

This build heavily relies on specific items and skills for its working:

  • Unique Item: Dawnfire Gloves
  • Skill: Holy Aura

To keep buffing this aura, players can summon wolves and an allied mercenary. These allies also benefit from the aura, thus contribute to its much higher total damage.

Context Lord of Hatred Expansion

The Paladin class in currently in open testing for the upcoming Lord of Hatred expansion. The expansion will add a new region, dungeons, fishing, new game modes, and new mechanics to Diablo IV. In addition to the Paladin, another class will be included in the DLC, though not much has been revealed yet.

The whole Lord of Hatred expansion is set for release in April 2026. Considering that the expansion is still in a testing period, players should be aware that there might be changes, including the class balance and all mechanics concerning this Paladin build, before the official launch.
