AOC AGP277QKP Esports Monitor Features Ultra High 425Hz Refresh Rate QHD Resolution and IPS Technology for Professional Gaming Performance
AOC has augmented its offering in the world of gaming hardware with the latest AGP277QKP monitor which has just been announced. It is stated on AOC’s official announcement page that the monitor has been developed solely for esports play. It packs ultra high refresh rates, as well as ambiance room light features that help the competitive gamers' desk environment.
The monitor boasts of a 27 inch IPS panel that renders a QHD resolution (2560x1440 pixels) at 400 Hz native refresh rate, but this can be overclocked to 425 Hz for ultra fast frames. In terms of response times, the monitor is advertised to have a 1ms GtG and a 0.2ms MPRT to rid display motion blur of the most competitive matches, and has peak brightness of 450 nits when in HDR mode. Color coverage wise, the new IPS panel covers 100% of sRGB at less than 2 Delta E values, and covers 95% of the Display P3 gamut, all at a reduced fatigue using circular polarization tech. Users should also expect blue light filters, and Flicker Free backlights for eye safety.
The AGP277QKP is not just a panel with great refresh rates, as it has bonus hardware built into its casing; for example, there is the Light FX ambient light that acts as environment backlight built onto the back of the monitor's casing. To adjust your monitor to get a good view angle there is a 4 way stand built onto the display, and a hanger for your gaming headphones located at the back of the stand. The ports are situated on the back of the monitor and it has:
- 2 HDMI 2.1 ports
- 1 DisplayPort 2.1 to support QHD at high refresh rates
- 3 USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 gigabits per second) ports for connecting peripherals
