Honor X7e Global Launch Provides Entry Level 4G Smartphone Specs with Massive 7500mAh Battery and Unique Physical AI Button on Magic OS 10.0
Honor adds an entry level 4G phone with a huge battery, Magic OS to its lineup with the global launch of the Honor X7e. Currently, the phone is available in Malaysia at the price of MYR 899 which amounts to about $225. It features a single configuration with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage. The color choices are midnight black and sunset orange. The smartphone is available for purchase exclusively on Amazon in Malaysia, in other regions.
As mentioned earlier, the key selling point of the phone is the battery capacity. The Honor X7e comes with a 7500mAh battery in Malaysia that also supports 45W charging. The rest of the globe would see a smaller 7000mAh cell. Unfortunately, no charger is included in the box.
The handset offers a 6.6 inch HD plus display which is of LCD type. Although it is a budget device, it still manages to provide a 120Hz refresh rate on the panel. In terms of the physical construction, Honor has provided it with a 5 star SGS safety certification for its premium drop protection feature.
The Honor X7e is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor for all the processing needs. What is interesting is that Honor has incorporated a dedicated physical AI button which will enable users to activate custom artificial intelligence features with just one tap. The Honor X7e shares this physical AI button with other costly devices.
Regarding imaging capabilities, it sports a 50MP main rear camera and an auxiliary camera at the rear, as well as a 5MP selfie camera at the front. Out of the box, the smartphone runs on Magic OS 10.0 which is an Android 16 based operating system. It’s still uncertain about whether Honor would push long term updates, but as per manufacturer, you should expect short term support. The phone comes with a dimensions of 8.29mm and it weighs 207 grams. There’s no expandable storage.
