Even though the mobile phones and notebooks captured much of the attention at Apple's WWDC 2026 Keynote, the accompanying hardware ecosystem gained significant features to support functional parity across screens. In the new age of unified machine intelligence, watchOS, tvOS and visionOS create deeper bonds between Apple's different screens.
WatchOS 27 Predictively assess fitness recovery
A new update will be released in the coming fall, watchOS 27, and it has plenty in store for Apple Watch users. With extensive focus on tracking health and endurance, it will introduce predictive fitness recovery, which is to say, by analyzing enhanced heart rate variability measurements, combined with prior sleep architectures, watchOS 27 informs its users of when to rest and when to exert their bodies. The new OS also includes brand new information dense, modular, dynamic complications and watch faces.
VisionOS 27 Contextually aware spatial workspaces
The Apple Vision Pro platform will get the visionOS 27 update with which data will be reinterpreted on the virtual canvas. With the new Siri architecture, spatial computing users can instruct Siri to parse and index analytical data on active virtual windows or application frames, and then, bring all analytical data to one location, thus providing more clarity to tasks involving spatial computing.
TvOS 27 Automated dialogue clarity tuning
A feature with the potential to create a smarter home: tvOS 27 will allow home hubs to auto tune dialog clarity on its system, using ambient noise levels and adapting the center channel audio configurations to the home speaker system and connected AirPods in order to optimize speech output for ultimate clarity.
