Google has officially launched the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, the larger Pixel 11 Pro XL and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, expanding its flagship smartphone line. The new devices pack the custom Tensor G6 processor alongside an upgraded camera system and magnetic wireless charging. However, customers must spend at least $1099 to secure the baseline Pro model.
Pixel 11 Pro /Pro XL
Screen sizes divide the 2 premium models. The Pixel 11 Pro uses a 6.3 inch display, while the Pixel 11 Pro XL steps up to a 6.8 inch panel. Google upgraded the screen brightness to hit a massive 3600 nits at peak. They also support variable refresh rates ranging from 1 to 120 Hz to save battery. The glass on both sides is Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which Google reinforced with an extra anti scratch shield. This keeps the screens safe from accidental drops.
The design remains familiar but refined. Google uses a polished glass back paired with a satin finish aluminum frame. The camera bar is slightly slimmer than previous generations. You can buy both devices in 4 color options: Canyon, Olive, Fog, and Obsidian.
Performance gets a major boost from the Tensor G6 chip. Google paired this new processor with the Titan M3 security coprocessor. Memory size depends on the storage tier you choose. The baseline 256GB models come with 12GB of RAM. If you buy the 512GB or 1TB versions, the RAM steps up to 16GB of RAM to handle heavier multitasking workloads. Those larger capacities also use a specialized storage system called Zoned UFS. It speeds up system performance. Exactly how this works remains a secret for now.
Batteries vary between the 2 sizes. The smaller Pro uses a 4850 mAh battery, which charges to 55% in 30 minutes with a 30W charger. The XL model uses a 5115 mAh battery that hits 75% in 30 minutes when you use a 45W plug. Both phones support the Pixelsnap magnetic system. This means you can use Qi2 2 certified wireless chargers up to 25W. No wires needed.
The camera setup is a massive focus for Google. The rear layout includes a 50MP main camera with a 1 over 1.3 inch sensor. This sits next to a 48MP ultrawide lens and a 48MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. The system can reach 120x Pro Zoom by combining physical lenses with software algorithms. It keeps the same Tensor G6 processor but drops down to 12GB of RAM. The screen is a 6.3 inch display that hits 3000 nits of peak brightness. The design swaps out the premium materials for a polished glass back and a satin finish aluminum frame.
This cheaper model drops some features to keep the price low. You miss out on vapor chamber cooling. The zoom is capped at 30x instead of 120x. The rear notification light is also gone. For cameras, the phone uses a 48MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 5x zoom.
Pixel 11 Pro Fold
The most expensive model in the lineup is the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Google redesigned the hinge with multi alloy steel and aerospace grade aluminum. This keeps the phone incredibly thin. It measures 10.1 millimeters thick when folded and opens up to just 5 millimeters flat. The total weight is 239 grams. It also carries an IP68 water resistance rating.
The foldable screens are massive. The cover screen is a 6.5 inch display, while the main internal screen opens to 8 inches of flexible display space. Both can reach 3600 nits of peak brightness. The phone runs on the Tensor G6 chip with 16GB of RAM. The cameras are identical to the standard Pixel 11 setup, but you get foldable software tricks like dual screen preview and tabletop mode. It starts at 1899 US dollars for the 256GB model.
According to the official specifications on Google's store, all 3 models run Android 17 right out of the box. Google is offering 7 years of operating system, security, and Pixel Drop updates. This long support window makes the heavy investment easier to justify for long term buyers.
Wireless connectivity is top tier across the family. Both Pro models feature Wi Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, ultra wideband, and dual band GNSS. US models bypass physical SIM trays completely, relying instead on dual active eSIM profiles. They also support both sub 6 GHz and mmWave 5G networks for fast data speeds.
