A major leak has revealed the design and specifications of the upcoming POCO F9 Pro and F9 Ultra. These premium devices pair the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor with massive batteries and high refresh rate displays. However, POCO has yet to officially announce the launch date for either phone.
According to leaked marketing materials, the POCO F9 Pro features a 6.59 inch OLED screen with a QHD resolution and a rapid 185 Hz refresh rate. A massive 6330 mAh battery keeps the device running, and it supports 100W fast charging. The camera setup includes a 50 MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, and a 50 MP zoom camera with 3x optical magnification. In Europe, this version is expected to start at 799 euros for the 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage model.
The flagship POCO F9 Ultra steps up the hardware package with a larger 6.85 inch display running at a resolution of 2608x1200 pixels. It holds an enormous 8050 mAh battery that also charges at 100W speeds. For cameras, the Ultra swaps out the smaller sensors for 3 separate 50 MP lenses on the back, offering a 5x zoom capability alongside a 32 MP front camera for selfies. It also gets a unique LED notification ring wrapped around the camera housing.
Both phones come with IP69 water and dust protection and extra speakers tuned by Bose. Color choices for the lineup include black, white, green, and red. The premium F9 Ultra configuration with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is expected to retail at 999 euros. While the leaked renders look highly polished, buyers will have to wait for the official hardware presentation to confirm these details.
