DJI has introduced a new Pearl White edition for the Osmo Pocket 4P handheld gimbal camera. The upgraded compact shooter pairs a 1 inch primary sensor with a dedicated 60mm zoom lens capable of capturing 4K video at 240 FPS. Preorders are already live on major retail platforms ahead of the official release.
The core hardware update centers on a versatile 2 camera configuration designed for mobile creators. The primary wide angle camera uses a large 1 inch sensor with a 20mm equivalent focal length and an f/2.0 aperture. Thanks to integrated LOFIC sensor technology the main camera achieves up to 17 stops of dynamic range to preserve detail in bright skies and deep shadows.
Beside the main shooter sits an all new 60mm medium telephoto lens featuring a fast f/1.8 aperture. This second camera provides a true 3x optical zoom for tighter framing and portrait style compositions, with hybrid digital magnification extending reach up to 12x.
For high frame rate recording the camera supports cinematic 4K video capture at 240 FPS for ultra smooth slow motion playback. Photographers and videographers also get access to the fresh D Log 2 color profile with 10 bit color depth, ensuring broad flexibility during post production grading.
The software also introduces dedicated slow shutter recording modes directly into the video interface. This allows users to create stylized light trail effects and natural motion blur without needing neutral density filters in low light settings.
