Minisforum has released the UM750 Neo, a compact desktop powered by the AMD Ryzen Z1 processor. The mini PC pairs 16GB of soldered memory with dual solid state drive slots and flexible USB4 connectivity. Aimed at everyday productivity tasks, the barebone system is currently on sale for 463.00$ US.

Under the hood, the AMD Ryzen Z1 chip provides 6 cores and 12 threads with a top clock speed of 4.9GHz. It carries 16MB of L3 cache to handle typical office workflows, video calls, and web multitasking. Graphical duties rely on integrated AMD Radeon graphics, which can comfortably run mainstream online games at 1080p resolution. To keep temperatures steady during heavy use, Minisforum applied phase change thermal material across the main board.

Memory is locked in at 16GB of LPDDR5 running at 6400MT/s. While the RAM cannot be upgraded, storage expansion is straightforward. The chassis holds 2 separate M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slots for fast solid state drives. Because this specific configuration sells as a barebone unit, buyers need to bring their own storage drive and load their operating system, though the hardware fully supports Windows 11.

Port selection on the small chassis covers both legacy and modern standards. You get a high speed USB4 connector, USB A ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 output, and an HDMI 2.1 port for multiple monitor setups. Wired networking runs through a 2.5GbE ethernet jack. Power input is handled over USB Type C with support for power delivery ranging between 65W and 100W, making it easy to run the entire unit from standard laptop power bricks.
