Nubia Launches Magnetic Phone Cooler Neo with 25W Heat Dissipation

Nubia has launched the Magnetic Phone Cooler Neo, a compact magnetic accessory designed to stop processor throttling during heavy gaming sessions. The unit combines a Peltier semiconductor cooling plate with RGB lighting and can handle up to 25W of heat dissipation. It is on sale in China for $25, with global availability details still pending.

At the center of the hardware sits a 36x36 millimeter Peltier element paired with an aluminum radiator and a metal contact plate that pulls heat directly from the back glass. Nubia states that under specific laboratory conditions, the cooling surface can drop down to 18 degrees below zero Celsius. To move that heat away quickly, the accessory uses a 7 blade fan spinning up to 6000 RPM. The exhaust vents are angled upward and downward so hot air never blows onto your fingers while holding the phone horizontally. Noise levels remain low during operation, starting at 33 dB on standard settings.

A physical slider switch on the outer shell lets players toggle between 4 distinct power settings, including Silent, Powerful, Overclocking, and Auto modes. The entire unit weighs 90 grams and measures 25 millimeters thick, snapping directly onto phones equipped with magnetic rings. For Android devices or handsets without internal magnets, the package includes a set of detachable mechanical clips. Nubia also integrated a standard 1/4 inch screw thread into the frame, allowing mobile live streamers to mount the cooler and phone directly onto a camera tripod.
