OPPO has officially launched the A7 Pro, a durable mid range smartphone built around a massive 8000mAh battery and top tier IP69K water protection. The handset features a 6.57 inch 120Hz AMOLED panel and runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX platform. It is currently available for purchase on JD.com starting at 2199 yuan, which converts to roughly $328.
The core selling point of the A7 Pro is its internal power cell. OPPO managed to fit an 8000mAh battery inside a chassis that measures 8.8 millimeters thick and weighs 205 grams. It supports 45W wired charging to get the large cell back up to capacity quickly. The build also carries an IP69K certification, offering resistance against high pressure and high temperature water sprays. Buyers can select from 3 color finishes, which include blue, pink, and desert brown.
Up front, the phone carries a 6.57 inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2372x1080 and a 120Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness hits 1400 nits, which helps with visibility under bright outdoor sun. For selfies and video calls, there is an 8MP front camera situated inside a small display cutout. The rear panel houses a 50MP main camera to handle everyday photography.
