Red Magic has shared initial teaser images for the Red Magic 12 Pro+ gaming smartphone. The upcoming flagship focuses on ergonomic refinements, packing a lighter and thinner body with ultra slim 0.96mm display borders. Official details confirm the device will launch in October.
Red Magic claims the 12 Pro+ delivers the best hand feel in the history of the brand. The change is obvious in the early renders. Official teaser images highlight a thinner chassis, reduced overall weight, and softer rounded frame corners compared to previous models. These adjustments aim to make long gaming sessions far less tiring on the hands.
The most striking visual upgrade sits on the front glass. Display borders shrink from 1.25mm on the prior generation down to just 0.96mm. That trims down the outer frame while leaving the true screen area untouched.
The device preserves the signature notch free front panel by placing the front camera beneath the display glass. Jiang Chao, the General Manager of Red Magic Gaming Phone Products, stated that the new phone remains built strictly around competitive gaming demands.
Performance holds steady under heavy workloads, the thermal system endures prolonged gaming sessions, and the hand feel is lighter than before. The design offers distinct visual identity, the uninterrupted under display screen remains pure, and the software provides a smooth daily experience.
While exact battery capacity and internal processor choices remain unannounced for now, Red Magic plans to share complete hardware specifications during the full October launch event. Mobile players will soon see if the slimmer frame can still tame flagship heat.
