vivo X500 Pro/Pro Max Launches with Dimensity 9600 Pro and 8000mAh Battery

vivo has introduced the X500 Pro series in China, debuting both the standard Pro and the larger Pro Max. The flagship lineup introduces the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro processor alongside custom Zeiss camera sensors and massive battery capacities reaching 8000mAh. Pricing for the new hardware starts at 6499 CNY for the standard Pro version.

Both models run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro processor to handle demanding mobile gaming and local computing tasks. Up front, vivo worked with BOE to integrate Q11 luminescent screen material using an LTPO 8T backplane with adaptive refresh rates up to 144Hz. The panels feature hardware level dimming down to 1nit for dark room comfort, alongside Dolby Vision and SGS low blue light certification. The standard Pro carries a 6.36 inch screen. The larger Pro Max features a 6.85 inch 2K Zeiss Master Color panel with customized auto brightness tuning.

The camera setup is the focal point of both devices. The main shooter debuts the Blueprint Guangyu 900 sensor, delivering an expansive 17EV exposure range supported by VCS 4.0 color technology and Zeiss T lens coating. The Pro Max goes further with a 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto camera built around a large 1/1.4 inch Samsung HP0 sensor. This periscope setup provides 4x lossless zoom, rapid motion tracking via the NICE algorithm engine, and compatibility with an optional 400mm Zeiss G2 Ultra teleconverter lens. The standard Pro opts for an 85mm portrait telephoto using a Sony LYTIA 610 sensor.

Battery sizes are massive across both models. The standard Pro packs a 6510mAh battery, while the Pro Max carries an enormous 8000mAh cell. Both versions support 90W wired charging and 40W wireless power delivery. Network features have also expanded. According to carrier partner China Unicom, the 1TB edition of the Pro and all Pro Max variants support eSIM functionality, allowing users to run a combination of 2 physical SIM cards and 2 eSIM profiles.
