AYN Odin 3 Portal Handheld Opens Preorders with Qualcomm Q8 Silicon

AYN has opened preorders for the Odin 3 Portal, an Android gaming handheld running on the Qualcomm Q8 platform paired with an Adreno 830 GPU. The device features a 7 inch 120Hz OLED display, built in active cooling, and a 9000mAh battery. Global preorder pricing starts at $399.

The console measures 257 by 101 by 17.2 millimeters and weighs 450 grams. Up front, the 7 inch OLED screen operates at a 120Hz refresh rate with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, protected by an anti glare AGAF glass layer. Internal active cooling hardware manages heat during sustained gaming loads. A 9000mAh battery powers the unit and supports 60W proprietary fast charging to limit charging downtime.

AYN equips the console with full size Hall effect analog joysticks and a tactile dome D Pad. The ergonomic layout incorporates textured shoulder triggers and dual color injection ABXY buttons. Wireless communication relies on Wi Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 standards. Physical ports include a full function USB C 3.1 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

AYN offers 3 distinct hardware tiers. The baseline model provides 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for $399. The mid tier version increases storage to 256GB with 12GB of RAM for $479, while the top tier model combines 16GB of RAM with 512GB of storage for $549.
