Fujitsu Client Computing Limited has launched a hardware ecosystem featuring the FMV Mouse X01MB, a mouse that replaces mechanical switches with electromagnetic induction on its buttons and dual scroll wheels. The release lands alongside the commercial rollout of the low profile FMV Keyboard X and a space saving 23.8 inch desktop monitor. These peripherals mark the expansion of the brand into desktop accessories, though pricing details remain unannounced.
FCCL designed the FMV Mouse X01MB around contactless electromagnetic switches for both the left and right buttons as well as its primary and secondary scroll wheels. Eliminating physical internal contacts delivers high speed scrolling and distinct tactile clicks without mechanical degradation. The chassis weighs roughly 70 grams and is ergonomically shaped around average hand measurements in Japan. Tracking reaches 8000 cpi, and internal battery life spans 30 to 70 days per charge. Wireless connectivity operates across 3 mode pairing, enabling synchronized KVM switching with the FMV Keyboard X to swap between multiple computers instantly.
The companion FMV Keyboard X moves into full retail after a successful crowdfunding campaign, bringing low profile magnetic switches into the setup. Sitting beside these input devices is the newly announced FMV Display V, a 23.8 inch monitor using a flag style mounting arm. This mounting setup reduces the physical gap between the panel and the wall down to 99 millimeters, clearing up valuable desk space. The metal arm supports magnetic accessory attachments and integrates a USB hub for desktop wiring. The display panel itself outputs a 1920x1080 resolution at 120Hz, reaching 250 nits of brightness with high color gamut coverage.
