LattePanda has officially launched the Sigma 2, a compact single board computer powered by the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor and 64GB of soldered LPDDR5X 8533 memory. The board targets edge artificial intelligence workloads and advanced robotics projects with dedicated OCuLink expansion and dual 10GbE networking. Pre orders are currently open at $2599 for the 1TB solid state drive configuration.
The computer measures 146 by 202 millimeters and integrates a built in turbine blower cooler to manage thermal output. LattePanda designed the system for continuous operation across private local servers, computer vision tasks, industrial automation, and home labs. General purpose input and output pins are driven independently by an integrated RP2350 microcontroller.
Physical input options cover extensive high speed connections across the primary edge. The layout provides 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, 2 USB A ports running at 10Gbps, 2 USB A ports at 480Mbps, and 1 OCuLink 2i PCIe Gen4 connector for external graphics cards or specialized accelerators. Networking relies on 2 10GbE LAN ports, while external display duties use 1 HDMI 2.1 port. Additional onboard pins supply RS 232 or RS 485 industrial connections and an extra USB 480Mbps channel.
The underside of the board contains 4 separate M.2 slots. 1 slot connects a wireless card via PCIe or CNVio3, while the remaining 3 supply PCIe Gen5 x2, PCIe Gen4 x4, and PCIe Gen4 x1 lanes for storage drives or artificial intelligence accelerators. Display and touch panel headers include eDP 1.5 alongside touch panel I2C connections. Pricing is set at $2599 for the complete pre order bundle with 1TB of storage.
