MSI Launches MPG COREFROZR AP15 Dual Tower Cooler with Magnetic Display

MSI has launched the MPG COREFROZR AP15, a dual tower CPU cooler equipped with a detachable magnetic digital display and addressable RGB lighting. The cooler uses an offset 6 pipe heatsink designed to clear tall memory modules without removing the central fan during installation. The unit is available now on global retail shelves priced at $82.

The top panel features the DIGI DISPLAY module, which connects through magnetic POGO PIN contacts rather than traditional wiring. Users can pull the screen off instantly for maintenance without detaching internal cables. Using the MSI EZ DISPLAY AP15 software, the panel reports real time metrics including temperatures, clock speeds, and usage loads for the processor, graphics card, and memory.

MSI builds the thermal block around a copper base and 102 aluminum cooling fins. Heat transfers through 6 copper pipes measuring 6 millimeters in diameter, arranged in an offset layout to prevent interference with bulky memory heat spreaders. System builders can install the unit without unhooking the center fan by lifting the magnetic display and inserting a long screwdriver through a direct access tunnel in the top plate. Socket support covers Intel LGA 1700 and LGA 1851, alongside AMD AM4 and AM5 platforms. Overall dimensions measure 168 by 126.5 by 128 millimeters.

Airflow comes from 2 separate 120 millimeter fluid dynamic bearing fans paired with addressable RGB lighting. The front fan spins up to 2000 RPM, producing 66.41 CFM of airflow at 31.1 dBA. The central fan tops out at 1600 RPM, delivering 54.14 CFM at a quieter 25.06 dBA. MSI rates the bearing lifespan at 30000 operational hours at 40 degrees Celsius.
