SmartSens Shows New 1-Inch SC5A5XS Sensor with Top Imaging Tech

The firm SmartSens from China has rolled out a new CMOS sensor, named SC5A5XS. It's a 50-megapixel, 1-inch sensor made fully in China. Some news says this sensor will be in new HUAWEI parts.

Main Tech SuperPixGain HDR and High Video Skills

A top point of the SC5A5XS is its SuperPixGain HDR tech. It takes three pics in one shot, a way made to keep rich detail in both light and dark areas while cutting blur from quick moves. The sensor also lets users shoot 4K videos at 60 frames each second, with a dynamic range up to 110 dB, very high for a phone sensor.

Better Focus and Low-light Work

SmartSens has put in new focus tech into the SC5A5XS. The mix of AllPix ADAF and Sparse PDAF means full, quick focus coverage over the sensor, vital for sharp pics in dark places. Plus, the sensor’s low read noise, under one electronic charge, helps get clearer night-time pics.

Tech Base and Use of Power

The sensor uses SmartClarity-XL Pro tech, built with many layers. This build also cuts power use by about 10% from past models.

Steps to Top Phone Photos

A voice from SmartSens said this part does more than fit in; it’s a big move to make phones a true match for regular cameras for all types of photography, daily or pro.
