NEO BERLIN 2087 Dives Deep into a Cyberpunk Plot with New Clip

Elysium Game Studio has shown us more of its first game, NEO BERLIN 2087 with a new clip out just before Gamescom. The clip shows us more about an action RPG that lets you play in first or third person, set in a dark, hi-tech mystery world.

A City on the Edge of Chaos

The game tells a detective tale with a strong cyberpunk vibe. It all starts with the death of Berlin's police top man. This event sends the city into a mess. Players play as Nolan, a detective with a hard past, his voice done by Elias Toufexis (Adam Jensen from Deus Ex).

Nolan's job is to find and save the chief's girl, Natalie, who might hold all the answers. This task soon grows into a big, dark plot that might wreck the whole city. Nolan and Natalie's tie is key to the plot, mixed with love, fear, and doubt, showing their lives being linked together.

Pick Your Detective: Play Your Way

NEO BERLIN 2087 lets you pick how Nolan acts and fights, fitting your play style. It's not a one-way game; you can mix shooter, stealth, and strong RPG parts. You pick if Nolan is quiet like a shadow, a smooth talker, or one who meets trouble head-on.

This choice goes into exploring the world too. Even though classic cyberpunk movies like Blade Runner pack some vibes, the game makes its own mark with Berlin as its core. In this future, the city is closed off, thought to be safe from the ruined lands outside where cast-offs and broken machines are found. Players will go into both the busy city and risky lands outside.

The Wait Starts: Platforms and Adding to Wishlists

Built with Unreal Engine, NEO BERLIN 2087 aims for a top-notch, real feel. Though Elysium Game Studio has not set a date to launch it, the game will come to PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.

You can add NEO BERLIN 2087 to your wish lists on your liked platform now.
