10-Year Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition Unveiled
Bethesda announced Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition as part of Fallout Day. This will be the ultimate edition of the title padded with a ton of stuff for the tenth anniversary.
What's inside the Anniversary Edition
It's going to take the place of the former Game of the Year and includes:
- Base game Fallout 4.
- Six official DLCs: Nuka-World, Vault-Tec Workshop, Contraptions Workshop, Far Harbor, Wasteland Workshop, and Automatron.
- More than 150 items by Creation Club.
- Next-gen graphical upgrades rolled out in April 2024.
- A new in-game menu "Creations," through which more content can be downloaded.
Launch Date and Platforms
The Anniversary Edition is slated for release on November 10, 2025, precisely Halloween, ten years after the date for the original release of the game, for the following platforms:
- PC
- PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4
- Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One
There is also a version planned for Nintendo Switch 2, which will be released sometime in 2026.
Upgrade Options for Existing Owners
Bethesda has revealed that preexisting players of Fallout 4 will have the ability to upgrade to the Anniversary Edition, even those who have the game through PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass. However, players will have two different upgrade options available, but the specifics of the pricing and methods have yet to be revealed.
Other Fallout Day Announcements
The celebration also had some news regarding the titles' future:
- Fallout: New Vegas-Physical 15th-anniversary bundle announced.
- Fallout 76-New Ohio expansion coming on December 2.
- Franchise sale- All Fallout titles sales across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation for a limited time.
