Vivo X Fold6 Official Promotional Marketing Highlights OriginOS 6 Fold Software Improvements Alongside Leaked Physical Photos and Hardware Specifications
Vivo has provided the first official promotional insights for its next foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold6, emphasizing the substantial software enhancements the brand is developing specifically for the foldable format. This official marketing information is supplemented by real world photos of the phone that have leaked online. These official advertisements demonstrate a folding interior screen with significantly thinner bezels compared to its predecessor.
Underpinning the software capabilities is a new OS version called OriginOS 6 Fold, specifically tuned for multitasking on a foldable. The size of the window display of the Atomic Workbench feature on the UI has been enlarged by 15% to provide increased work space. The marketing materials also highlight the new, proprietary One Screen, Five Uses software feature, that is designed to allow the use of 5 applications simultaneously on a single screen without compromising performance or ease of use.
Other additions and software refinements to the OriginOS 6 Fold system include more optimized positioning of numerous applications on one display and smoother animations when multitasking between windows. The AI assistance has also been upgraded to incorporate numerous offline functions that allow it to process voice commands without an active internet connection. Another new function is the introduction of custom work environments. Multiple applications are grouped into one environment that can be quickly activated with a single button push to open them all at once for particular tasks like meetings, travelling, investing, and shopping.
Although official promotion only highlighted software, actual photos of the phone have leaked on the internet via a tip from industry insider Digital Chat Station. The tip shows an actual, physical model of the phone in a blue green finish on the outside. The image shows what appears to be a sleek and slim device when fully closed.
While no specs are confirmed, current reports indicate that the Vivo X Fold6 will likely feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor and an extremely large 6900 mAh battery due to the dual screen design. On the back it may be a triple camera with one 200 MP sensor, one 50 MP sensor for telephoto shots with optical zoom, and another for ultra wide angle images. The manufacturer has yet to officially announce a release date for the hardware.
