The dramatic growth arrives as the company begins commercial shipments of its new LPDDR6 memory and faces growing questions about potential supply deals with Apple. The latest numbers show rapid expansion across the business. CXMT pulled in 150.31 billion yuan in revenue during the first half of the year, generating a net profit of 77.605 billion yuan for shareholders. During the investor call, General Manager Zhao Lun stated that the performance, quality, and supply stability of their memory modules can now compete directly with established international players. He emphasized that the company continues to talk with top tier global clients, though specific business partnerships remain confidential until official filings are made.
A major focus of investor attention centers on potential deals with US hardware makers. Reports from the Wall Street Journal revealed that Apple has been testing CXMT memory silicon inside both iPhone and MacBook hardware. The goal is to secure extra component supplies to manage shortages caused by the global artificial intelligence boom. Insiders indicate that preliminary talks focus on using CXMT parts in devices destined for the Chinese market. When asked directly about Apple, Zhao Lun maintained an open stance toward global partnerships without confirming specific customer orders.
While future supply deals remain unconfirmed, CXMT has already landed its next generation silicon in consumer devices. Xiaomi brand head Lu Weibing confirmed during an IFA presentation that the new Xiaomi 18 Fold is the first retail device to use CXMT LPDDR6 memory. The memory runs alongside the new Xuanjie O3 processor, marking the first real world deployment of LPDDR6 technology in a commercial phone. Zhao Lun described this launch as a joint achievement with Chinese supply partners, though full details on production volume and profit contributions are still to come.
