Ubisoft is giving away permanent copies of its medieval multiplayer brawler For Honor at zero cost. PC players can claim the full game directly through the Ubisoft Connect desktop launcher during a limited promotional window. However, regional account restrictions mean users in certain territories must use an international profile to claim the gift.
Epic Games Store is not the only platform running free promotions. Ubisoft has opened a free claim window for For Honor on PC. Anyone with an active Ubisoft Connect account can add the game to their digital library and keep it permanently. The promotion runs for roughly 2 weeks before returning to its standard retail price. Once added to your account, the title stays in your collection forever with full access to multiplayer modes.
For Honor puts players into competitive melee matches featuring distinct historical factions. You fight as knights, samurai, and vikings across objective based battlefields. The game is known for a directional combat system that requires strict timing and split second reactions.
Longevity is rare in modern multiplayer gaming. Despite approaching a 10 year operational milestone, Ubisoft continues to support the community with regular content drops and balance updates. Getting permanent access for free gives newcomers an easy way to jump into the action without spending money on an older release.
