GALAX has officially launched the GeForce RTX 5080 HOF EXTREME, adding a luxury flagship model to its Hall of Fame lineup. The card features 13 Swarovski crystals inlaid across both sides of its frame and uses a custom cooling solution running 4 fans. It targets high performance overclocking setups with an out of the box 2805 MHz boost clock and a 400W power limit.
GALAX equips the board with heavy power circuitry, gold plated display outputs, dual vBIOS firmware switches, and eFuse hardware protection. Power input relies on 2 separate 12V 2x6 connectors, allowing builders to choose whichever socket fits their case layout best. An included magnetic cover conceals the unused socket for a cleaner presentation. Accent lighting is managed by an Aurora MAX crown strip that synchronizes through motherboard headers or standalone control software.
Thermal management spans both sides of the card using 4 fans to move air across the heatsink assembly. The graphics processor operates with a factory boost frequency of 2805 MHz, representing a 188 MHz overclock over reference cards. Total graphics power reaches 400W, which is a 40W increase over stock specifications. Physical dimensions measure 335.9 by 143 by 79.1 millimeters without the bracket, requiring significant clearance inside a desktop chassis.
