iQOO has officially scheduled the launch event for the Neo 12, introducing a performance smartphone focused on ultra high frame rate mobile gaming. The device packs a 185 Hz display, an integrated active cooling fan, and a massive 9000 mAh silicon anode battery. The official presentation will take place in China, targeting competitive mobile players.
iQOO equips the Neo 12 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor alongside a proprietary Q3 gaming chip. System tasks run through an updated Monster Super Core Engine to optimize frame delivery. Heat dissipation relies on an active Ice Dome cooling module with a miniature internal fan. This hardware combination allows the phone to run supported titles at 2K resolution at 185 frames per second using simultaneous resolution upscaling and frame interpolation. More than 50 games support native 185 frames per second playback, full scene ray tracing, and custom Q Flex controls.
The pTSF display reaches a peak brightness of 2200 nits and supports XDR dynamic range enhancement with circular screen polarization. For night use, the panel drops to a minimum brightness level of 1 nit. Input response is handled by a 5000 Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate and a 500 Hz multi touch tracking rate. These display capabilities ensure fast touch response during competitive play.
Energy comes from a 9000 mAh Blue Ocean battery using a fifth generation silicon anode with an energy density of 916 watt hours per liter. The cell accepts 100W wired fast charging for rapid power replenishment. Exterior options include the Zhengfeng colorway with a light shifting iridescent finish, along with a secondary design variant developed in collaboration with the China Academy of Art.
