Changing an avatar into a robot in the real world
Coming from the Chinese mobile game Justice Mobile, the character now turns into a humanoid robot. NetEase partnered with the robotics firm AheadForm Technology to make the project a real-world exhibit.
Launch and important features
This robot is based on the character in the game, Fang Chengyi and was formally introduced during the festival CP32 in China. People had a chance of directly interacting with the invention. Display activities reveal that it has a highly realistic skin texture and an internal temperature close to a human form.
With additional upcoming advanced technologies, the real-world activity of this robot is powered by:
- AI biomimetic movement algorithms
- A binocular vision system
- Second generation ultra-realistic biomimetic skin
Connection with the In-Game Character
This physical machine is an image of sophistication as the character in the game itself. Within Justice Mobile, the character Fang Chengyi utilizes Fuxi, an AI embedded in NetEase with which users can have open dialogues and interaction with it.
It is the second collaboration bearing fruit between NetEase and the robotics company AheadForm Technology after the earlier reveal in the month of September 2025.
