Anker has introduced the MindBase, an all in one hardware hub that merges smart home controls with local network storage. Unveiled at IFA 2026, the device processes sensor data and personal files locally to avoid cloud subscriptions. The real draw is its privacy first setup.
The internal computing power reaches 26 TOPS to drive a proprietary large language model. Unlike standard hubs that upload private footage to remote servers, this unit handles everything directly inside your living room. Storage starts with a 64GB solid state drive for system software, but 2 expansion bays support 2.5 inch or 3.5 inch hard drives. Users can expand the total capacity up to 48TB. That provides plenty of room for family photos, personal files, and raw camera recordings.
Pricing and availability are still unknown, with Anker yet to announce how much the product will cost or when it will be available to buy.
