Mechrevo has listed a top tier configuration of its Canglong 16 Ultra gaming laptop on JD.com. The machine pairs an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card, a 300Hz Mini LED screen, and an external water cooling unit in the box. It retails in China starting at 31999 yuan, which translates to roughly $4415 USD.
The laptop uses an all metal chassis with an RGB logo centered on the outer lid. For typing and gaming controls, the deck features a full size ergonomic keyboard with per key RGB backlighting. The display is a major highlight of the build. It features a 16 inch Mini LED panel with a 2560x1600 resolution and a rapid 300Hz refresh rate. The panel reaches a peak brightness of 1200 nits and covers 100% of the DCI P3 color space.
Raw performance is driven by the 16 core and 32 thread AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor. Mechrevo matched this flagship CPU with 64GB of DDR5 5600MHz system memory and a 2TB NVMe solid state drive. Graphics duties are handled by the mobile Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090. To keep thermal throttling under control, the internal cooling array uses 3 fans working alongside rear quick connect ports for the included external liquid cooler. Power delivery is managed by a 420W silicon carbide power brick, backed by an internal 99Wh battery.
Physical connectivity is spread across three sides of the chassis. The left side includes 1 RJ45 ethernet jack, 1 USB C 10Gbps port, 1 USB A 5Gbps port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The right side houses 2 USB A 5Gbps ports. The rear panel provides the liquid cooling hookup, another USB C 10Gbps port, 1 Mini DP 2.1 video output, and 1 HDMI 2.1 port. While the base price sits at 31999 yuan or about $4415 USD, regional government electronics subsidies in China can lower the final checkout price to 30499 yuan, which is approximately $4210 USD.
