Tecno has unveiled an experimental phone featuring a true 0 mm display border with zero physical screen edges. Alongside this futuristic hardware, the company showcased the performance focused POVA 8 Pro 5G Lamborghini edition and the ultra slim CAMON Slim 5G. Complete specifications for the commercial models will arrive through dedicated product announcements over the coming days.
The main attraction on the IFA exhibition floor centers on a concept device that completely removes the dark border surrounding the screen. Standard mobile displays always require a physical perimeter to house wiring and protective layers. Tecno bypassed this limitation by restructuring the internal display components and creating a new screen packaging method. The result is a seamless glass panel that stretches from edge to edge without any visible black framing.
For gaming and computing performance, Tecno partnered with Tonino Lamborghini on a custom POVA 8 Pro 5G. The hardware relies on a dual processor setup pairing a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chip with a custom P1 graphics chip. To keep thermal throttling under control during long sessions, the chassis houses a 5K IceShield vapor chamber cooling system. The external shell takes design cues directly from luxury Italian automotive styling.
Thin devices are back in the spotlight, and the CAMON Slim 5G pushes that direction with a chassis measuring just 6.39 millimeters thick. Tecno managed to fit pro level camera sensors and built in AI photo software inside this slim body without making the device feel fragile. The phone arrives in artistic color options aimed at mobile photographers who want a lightweight daily phone.
Tecno has not shared full retail pricing or global release schedules for these upcoming models. Detailed technical breakdowns for both the Lamborghini edition and the CAMON Slim will roll out through official brand channels shortly.
