ASUS has launched a new configuration of the adol 14 Air 2026 laptop powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 9 H 465 processor. The ultra light notebook weighs just 990 grams and features a 2.8K 120Hz OLED display alongside 50 TOPS of artificial intelligence compute power. The machine starts at 7299 yuan ($1010 USD), with launch incentives and regional subsidies temporarily lowering the price to 5949.15 yuan ($825 USD).
The magnesium aluminum alloy body measures 14.9 millimeters thick and comes in Hyacinth Blue and Iris Purple, with the purple finish adding 100 yuan ($14 USD) to the price. Up front, the 2.8K OLED display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a peak brightness of 1100 nits. The screen covers 100% of the DCI P3 color gamut, produces a 1,000,000 to 1 contrast ratio, and achieves a 0.2 millisecond response time. Each panel receives individual factory color calibration with Delta E below 1, backed by hardware blue light reduction and a black and white reading mode.
Processing runs on the AMD Ryzen AI 9 H 465 chip built on the Zen 5 architecture with 10 cores and 20 threads. The processor hits clock speeds up to 5.0GHz with a 45W thermal design power. An AMD XDNA 2 NPU provides 50 TOPS for local AI tasks, while an integrated Radeon 880M GPU based on RDNA 3.5 architecture handles graphics rendering. ASUS equips the laptop with 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 1TB PCIe solid state drive, leaving a spare M.2 slot open for future storage expansion.
A 70Wh battery powers the hardware, delivering up to 29.6 hours of local 1080p video playback and 18.8 hours in the PCMark 10 modern office benchmark. Software includes the Douding AI assistant, which operates through a hybrid edge and cloud model to generate presentations, write code, search local files, and process voice inputs. A collaboration with WorkBuddy adds automated desktop office workflows. ASUS includes a 2 year service package covering on site hardware repairs, remote assistance, and screen replacements.
